Brenda has been the Director of Green Urbanism/Environmental Affairs & Storm Water (MS4) Coordinator for the City of Gary, IN since 2013. She graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing. She later went on to receive her master's degree in community economic development and project management at Southern New Hampshire University. Before she began her current position at the City of Gary, Brenda was the CEO/CED Consultant of her own company, B. Scoot Henry Consulting Group, LLC.
When given the opportunity, Brenda's passion is for developing sustainable programs and services in rural and urban communities by engaging community stakeholders through community economic development and project management practices.
