NWI Brownfield Coalition 
The Northwest Indiana Brownfields Coalition (NWIBC) is a regional coalition comprised of the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority (RDA), the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC), and the cities of Gary, Hammond and East Chicago in Lake County, Indiana.

​Michael Reese Planning and Development 
Redevelopment plans for the former Michael Reese Hospital site on Chicago's Near South Side will begin to move forward in spring 2020, starting with a web-based community meeting that will be followed by formal review and approval processes involving the Chicago Plan Commission, City Council and other public entities.

​Brownfield Grant Opportunity 
EPA's Brownfields Program provides direct funding for brownfields assessment, cleanup, revolving loans, environmental job training, technical assistance, training, and research. To facilitate the leveraging of public resources, EPA's Brownfields Program collaborates with other EPA programs, other federal partners, and state agencies to identify and make available resources that can be used for brownfield activities.
